HÖRL – where your ideas are
in excellent hands

Hörl plastics engineering - development

Cooperation with our customers already starts with developing and designing new products. Our team of experts provides distinguished advice in matters of design and material in order to be eventually able to manufacture even the most sophisticated products in the required high-end quality in an economic way.

Hand in glove with the project management, our design engineers translate the concepts into specific designs. For this purpose they make use of state-of-the-art tools like 3D filling simulation or 3D CAD software and provide the basis for subsequent CAM production in our in-house tool shop.

Long experience, the latest processing machines and techniques as well as the use of special materials and components form the basis for precision and durability of our tools and products. In a continuous cycle, lessons learned from injection molding and tooling influence the concepts of new projects and processes. This helps us to become a little bit better every time.

In order to achieve the best possible efficiency of our production, we have been relying for years on the optimal linking of processes within our production. We coordinate the usual individual processes in production and combine them to form a fully automated production unit.

We are happy about challenges and look forward to your most demanding components.

HÖRL – where the most sophisticated plastics are processed

We can handle almost any high-performance plastic available on the market. We supply our customers with components made of standard plastics PE, PP, PS, ASA, SAN, ABS, technical plastics PMMA, PC, TPE, TPU, PA, PBT, POM, PPO/PPE, TPX as well as high-temperature materials PAA, PEI, PPA, LCP, PPS or PEEK.

We have comprehensive knowledge in tool design and processing in injection molding machines for each plastic.
In order to achieve the required mechanic and thermal properties of the product we use plastics granules in combination with colors, fillers and modifications.

Thermoplastics:
PE | PP | PS | ABS | ASA | SAN| PMMA | PC | TPE | TPU | PA | PBT | POM | PPO/PPE | TPX | PAA | PEI | PPA | LCP| PPS | PEEK PK

Fillers:
Glass fibers (up to 65%)  | glass balls | carbon fibers | PTFE | carbon | titanium dioxide

Modifications:
Impact strength | fire protection (e.g. UL94 V0 F1) | hydrolysis resistance | demoldability
